A grade 11 student, Kian Loyd delos Santos, died Wednesday night in an anti-drug operation in Barangay 160 Caloocan. Police declared that the teenager fought back authorities, assertedly fired at them, that brought the policemen to shoot him back.
But there are witnesses that defended and said that the authorities’ announcement is not true.
Chief Director of Philippine National Police (PNP), General Ronald ‘Bato” dela Rosa, promised on Friday that he will scrutinize the incident and said he will not allow abuse of power from his men. Said that it is hard to see through without an investigation but he will do the necessary action and made certain that he will act on it.
Kung merong ganun pai-imbestigahan natin”, said the PNP chief.

Basta ang assurance, iimbestigahan natin, the chief director added.

“May the truth prevail and justice be done.”
