"President Duterte Maintained Big Majority Approval and Trust Ratings" - Pulse Asia

Fresh News: After polling firm Social Weather Stations ( SWS ) administered the survey that says President Duterte's net satisfaction and trust ratings tumbled to 18-point plunge, Pulse Asia, a public opinion polling body in the country, also conducted their own Ulat ng Bayan national survey.

As per Mahar Mangahas, president of SWS, the fall in Pres. Duterte's ratings is quicker than normal versus the previous administrations.

But dissimilar to SWS that says President Duterte's ratings dropped, Pulse Asia's survey on the performance and trust rating of the president remained high.

Based on the latest Pulse Asia survey that was conducted from September 24 – 30, 2017 using face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults, most Filipinos continue to approve of and trust President Rodrigo Duterte amidst the various issues being faced by his administration.

President Duterte manages to retain his big majority approval and trust ratings, both at 80 percent in spite of public mischief to supposed police misdeeds and injustice in drug wars and the accusations of hidden wealth.

In addition, both surveys, Pulse Asia and SWS conducted their surveys in the hit of the issues of deaths of minors in the hands of Caloocan city police and the allegation of Senator Trillanes about the presidents alleged doubtful wealth that caused the anger of some citizens and affected the said surveys.

Pulse Asia, endowed, in it's Ulat ng Bayan national survey that there is 80 percent of respondents with big trust in President Duterte, 6 percent with small trust while 14 percent were undecided.

Mindanao, the home region of the president, got the highest rating of the biggest trust scores with 93 percent and 85 percent came from class E respondents.

To add up, there are 80 percent of those who answered the survey gave their approval to the president while only 7 percent signified dissatisfaction.
