Fresh News: It was indeed a very breathtaking 7-game series for this year's PBA Governors' Cup finals between Barangay Ginebra and Meralco.

To add a spice, the "Living Legend" himself, aka "Big J", Robert Jaworski was present at every game and cherished every minute not just to cheer Ginebra, the team he used to coach but also to uplift Meralco, the team he used to play before entering PBA.

Well history says that Big J was the one who started and pounded the "Never Say Die" spirit in Ginebra and the basketball legend himself said that he wish to see more basketball battles in the rise of these spectacular finals with the team that he helped to create in 1980s and 1990s.

Jaworski together with more than 54,000 fans watched the Game 7 at the Philippine Arena on Friday, made an all-time record for gate attendance in the history of PBA and said that Game 7 was wonderful and both teams gave their best.

He said "This is wonderful for the sport of basketball, considering it was a hard-fought game and both teams gave their best. It was hard but clean,"

He mentioned that he has been part of Meralco for a time being and that they won a lot of championships back then but understands that most of the people who came in the Arena and watched the live game are mostly cheering for Ginebra.

"Meralco was my team for a while and we won a lot of championships,"

"We have 54,000 (people here) and we understand a lot of them love the sport of basketball and they were rooting for Ginebra, a big number of them anyway".

Big J also added that the triumph last Friday were for both teams and he wish that basketball will have more exciting series like that.

"This is a victory not only for basketball but for Meralco and Ginebra. Again, I hope we can have more series like this.", said the Living Legend.
