Veteran newscaster and former TV host, Jay Sonza once posted on his Facebook page a very interesting suggestion on what the present administration and President Rodrigo Duterte should do to maximize the resources of Government facilities and personnel.

Let's take a look back on Mr. Sonza post where in he pointed out that despite of all sources like media outlets and government agencies opposing illegal drugs, still, there are a lot of critics and groups that make louder noises against the administration's war on drugs and what's alarming is that there is already a growing concern against the campaign.

The veteran newscaster has this recommendation on what he think would be a great help to raise awareness and educate the people about the issues on drug war.

Below is his Facebook Post.

Despite the fact that government has at its disposal several media outlets to backbone the campaign against the proliferation of illegal substances, the public perception on death as a result of the campaign, the arrest of key players and the surrender of drug users and pushers is poor, if not very poor.

They have to be tapped and supported.

With these vast media outfits, hindi mo iisipin na natatalo pa rin ang gobyerno sa ingay ng iilang tutol o kritiko ng war on drugs campaign ng administrasyon. Bakit? Because they have not maximize the resources of government facilities and personnel. Why is it logging behind, perhaps, the people manning these facilities are either incompetent or they simply don’t know how to do it, or worst, they don’t believe or agree with the presidential campaign against illegal drugs.

Mr. President, let me be honest with you sir, we are not winning the war by the volume of people who surrendered (they continue to ply the trade after), the sheer numbers of pushers arrested (may pumapalit sa mga ito), the high value target arrested. What is bad is that there is growing concern against the campaign.

Sayang ang mga kagamitan ng gobyerno kung ang nagpapakbo nito ay hindi alam ang gagawin, dahil wala silang sapat na kakayahan at karanasan in utilizing and managing these vast resources of government. Time to crack the whip Mr. President."
