When asked what is that said mission, General Dela Rosa answered that it is to clean up the PNP in scalawags, the fight for terrorism, and to continue the President's top priority which is the 'war on  drugs.'

Atsaka yung problema natin sa terrorism atsaka itong sa NPA," The General said

According to the PNP chief, he knew that there are many who are hoping and waiting for him to retire but since it was President Duterte's prerogative for him to continue his job as PNP chief General, he cannot do anything but to go on and do what the President says.

General Dela Rosa then exclaimed that he will never leave the president and as long as Pres. Duterte needs him, he will not leave.

"If that is the case then wala akong magawa. Presidential prerogative, decision niya 'yan...

The chief General added.

General Bato also mentioned that being a a PNP chief for him is 'fate'. He believes that he is destined to be one and that God created his destiny and added that he is a good soldier, will do orders radiating from his boss and will serve the President until his final gasp.

Destiny iyan, nobody can create destiny, it's only God who can create destiny," he said.

"I am a good soldier and will do orders emanating from my boss. I am willing to serve him up to my last breath sa laki ng utang na loob ko sa kanya. Up to my last breath, pwede akong magserbisyo sa kanya." Gen. 'Bato' exclaimed.
