Spox Roque to De Lima: "Stop attacking me and Stop expecting I will not hit back."

Fresh News: On Thursday, March 1, 2018, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque advised detained Senator Leila de Lima to quit 'assaulting' him in the event that she wants to keep away from his anger.

The Spox pronounced that he has just been making proclamations against De Lima on the grounds that the beset senator has likewise been making articulations against him and the administration.

Roque then gave his advice to De Lima and said that on the off chance that the latter would prefer not to hear anything from him, she have to quit saying things in regards to him since he is free and can answer anytime unlike her who is in prison.

"My advice to Leila de Lima, if you do not want to hear anything from me, stop saying things about me. Because remember, I am free, and I can reply. You're in jail," the Spox said.

Spox Roque farther said that the senator can't take it against him if he reacts to anything that she says.

He also added that he will leave her alone as a matter of policy since she's in prison but she should quit assaulting him and quit expecting he won't hit back.

"She can't take it against me if I respond to anything that she says. I leave her alone as a matter of policy because she's in jail. But stop attacking me. Stop expecting I will not hit back," Roque added.

It can be recalled that after Spox Roque greeted the novice senator "happy anniversary" on the first year of her detainment, the word war between the two public officials ejected.

De Lima then reacted furiously by saying that Roque "traded his dignity and reputation as a human rights legal counselor, in return for a possible senatorial post."

Accordingly, Roque, the human rights lawyer turned Presidential spokesperson said that he wished the senator, who is confronting drug charges, would spend whatever is left of her life in prison.

The Presidential spokesperson added that he would stand firm on his statement, saying the detained senator deserves where ever she is right now.

Meanwhile, Malacañang official additionally said that Spox Roque isn't considering running for Senate yet as he needs to center around his job and said that the spokesperson will just consider running, on the off chance that he has enough cash to campaign.
