Well-known Writer to an Advocacy Group #EveryWoman: "Diversionary Tactics, E Di Wow!"

Fresh News: Krizette Laureta Chu, a well-known writer and an avid President Duterte supporter lambasted the advocacy group #EveryWoman on her recent post in a social media site.

On her personal Facebook account, Ms Chu fiercely posted her displeasure to the group's new campaign called #BantayBastos, a campaign that is aiming at chosen elected officials responsible for sexist or misogynist remarks on their speeches and public statements.

This campaign urges the public to report occurrences of verbally injurious discourse to the #BantayBastos Facebook page through Messenger.

Once affirmed, a picture of the government official alongside the sexist or sexist statement will be posted on #BantayBastos' main page.

Krizette Chu on the other note seemed annoyed on the idea of the new campaign and said that there are lots of other more significant things to be taken care of than just verbal abuse.

The writer then summoned and challenged the said group to rather aim at chosen elected officials who are responsible for missing YOLANDA and MRT funds since women endured in those occurrences more, and search for the individuals who stole from Department of Health (DOH).

Chu also mentioned that she actually thinks that more often than not, "decent" words uttered by some officials before are more offensive and those are statements like, BAHALA KAYO SA BUHAY NYO", BUHAY KA PA NAMAN DI BA", NAMATAYAN DIN AKO KAYA QUITS" and the likes.

These phrases and statements have no sexist words on it but don't you think it's more abusive? Unsympathetic. Merciless. Heartless.

Compared to the sexist jokes spoken by some officials, those are more unforgiving. And i would rather hear and see officials joke about silly things than watch others talk decently and pretend to be modest but not humane.

Krizette Chu then ended her message by saying that if this is another way for the group to divert more important issues, then so be it, because she believes that most women will not support their group campaign anyway.

"I FUCKING don't know about you, #EveryWoman group, but I fucking take bigger offense with decent words like:

"LAGLAG BALA NOT GOVERNMENT PROBLEM BUT PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITY"

"BAHALA KAYO SA BUHAY NYO"

"BUHAY KA PA NAMAN DI BA"

"THE PRESIDENT IS AN AQUINO AND YOU ARE A ROMUALDEZ"

"NAMATAYAN DIN AKO KAYA QUITS"

Dami nyong pakulo. Ang daming dapat bantayan sa bansa, verbal abuse ang inaatupag ninyo.

Why don't you fucking launch a fucking campaign aimed at holding elected officials accountable for missing YOLANDA and MRT funds because women suffered in those instances more, and why don't you look for those who stole from DOH?

Diversionary tactics, e di wow. NAKAKAGALIT. And no, you don't have any right to use the #EVERYWOMAN, because most women don't buy into your bullshit."
