Reason why Jay Sonza, who is known for being fearless and likely to speak the truth, made this Facebook post wherein he reveals the real story behind all these controversies of the boat collision occurrence.

The clarification and disclosure from Sonza happened after the captain and the fishermen of FB Gem-Vir 1 boat allegedly met with Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol, who visited the fishermen in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro to check up on them and extend government assistance.

According to the veteran journo, the story after all is now clear that the captain and the fishermen themselves finally decided to speak the truth.

The former TV host then listed down the reality of events that took place during the Recto bank reef accident that time.

1. it is indeed a maritime incident.

(not certain whether it was a collision or allision not ramming as inially reported)

(the area is historically a common fishing ground for all claimant countries' fisherfolks).
