"ANG PAPAPI IS NOT PRACTICAL, NOT BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE DUE IMPORTANCE TO "PILIPINO", OUR NATIONAL LANGUAGE, BUT BECAUSE TAGALOG OR PILIPINO IS A STRANGE LANGUAGE TO 95 PERCENT OF INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS. KAPAG NAMAN PHILIPPINE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, OR PIA AY GANUON DIN, AND WITHOUT SAYING IT, IT WILL GIVE THE IMPRESSION THAT IT IS OUR ONLY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. BUT WE HAVE SO MANY POINT OF ENTRIES LIKE THE UNITED STATES AND OTHER ÇOUNTRIES. WE HAVE CLARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, MACTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, DAVAO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ILOILO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, GENSAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ETC.

IN THE UNITED STATES, BECAUSE THEY HAVE SO MANY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS AS POINT OF ENTRIES OF FLIGHTS COMING FROM ABROAD, EVEN THEIR BIGGEST AND BUSIEST AIRPORT AT NEW YORK WAS NEVER DUBBED AS THE UNITED STATES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THIS IS TRUE IN THE WHOLE OF EUROPE, NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA, ASIA, ASEAN, MIDDLE EAST AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND AND OTHER PROGRESSIVE COUNTRIES IN AFRICA.

MANILA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OR MIA IS KNOWN WORLDWIDE. WHY NOT BE PRACTICAL BY JUST REVERTING THE NAME OF THE SAID AIRPORT BACK TO MIA OR
MANILA INTERNATIONAL AÍRPORT

LET US BE PRACTICAL.

PAPAPI, PIA? INA KO PO, MAMAMATAY AKO SA KUNSUMISYON!

KUNG AYAW NINYO SA NAIA AT SA MIA AY BAKIT HINDI PA BIGYAN NG BAGONG PANGALAN ANG NASABING AIRPORT NG: "YIA'" OR "YELLOWTARD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

COME ON GUYS. USE YOUR KOKOTE AND JUST BE PRACTICAL!"
